Villa Guarracino is an historic building date back to 16th century, (subjected to surveillance by the Italian Cultural Heritage Agency) in Liberty style with three floors plus basement.
The architectural project included a change of use from school structure to tourist accommodation - "Luxury Resort and Wellness Hotel".
Work of a local nature was carried out aimed at renewing or replacing individual structural elements of the building with the objective of achieving a greater degree of security without however changing substantially the overall look.
The most significant works carried out were framing the arch of the theatre with new reinforced concrete elements in order to remove the occluding wall, reinforcement of the stair buttresses with Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer strips and the reinforcement the existing pavilion vault.
