Seismic vulnerability assessment of the town hall building

On behalf of the City of Barletta, Aires Ingegneria carried out the seismic vulnerability assessment of the town hall building.
Structural analyses were carried out in accordance with the requirements of Italian technical regulations OPCM 3274/2003 and subsequent amendments.
The structural analyses were conducted in the Non-linear environment using Pushover Analyses and the load-bearing masonry structures were summarised in an "equivalent frame" model.
For the building, seismic safety tests were conducted both to establish the current status and with a view to seismic retrofitting/upgrading status.
